ACTION UNIFIEDREAL-TIME ASSURANCE
See the whole system. Act on what matters.
AURA by ACTION brings connected assets, sensors and project indicators into one operating picture for groundwater and fluid risk. It flags exceptions against defined limits and brings them to ACTION specialists, who keep your operation ready and on course for its intended outcome.
Is the pump running? Is the system doing its job? AURA answers both.
- Discharge
- Design 1.6 to 2.1 bar
- Runtime
- 1,204 h · service due 296 h
- Fuel
- 61%
02 · The problem
Plenty of data. The risk hides in the noise.
Hundreds of readings. AURA brings forward the one that needs action.
A pump can be running while the wider system falls short. A water level can climb while every asset reports normal. In a critical operation, what counts is whether the system is delivering the result the project depends on.
AURA connects the relevant signals and brings exceptions into view the moment agreed limits are crossed. ACTION teams assess what each one means for the project and decide whether to intervene.
For you, that means less uncertainty, clearer communication and attention on the issues that affect continuity, safety and delivery.
Illustrative image03 · What AURA is
One connected picture. The right attention at the right time.
AURA makes critical performance visible across assets, fleets and projects.
Built on ARMS, ACTION's remote asset management system, AURA brings connected assets and project instruments into one operating picture. Configured limits pick out the exceptions. ACTION specialists read them in the context of the whole system and decide the response.
With AURA, ACTION can:
- Bring connected equipment and project instruments together
- Highlight exceptions against defined operating thresholds
- See equipment health and system performance through different lenses
- Focus engineering and operations teams where attention is needed
- Support maintenance planning, intervention and agreed reporting
AURA filters the noise. ACTION provides the judgement. You gain confidence in what matters.
04 · What AURA measures
Configured around your assets, your system and your risks.
AURA builds on ARMS equipment telemetry and is device agnostic. It can bring together data from different types and makes of asset, sensor and information source, including:
- groundwater, sump and network levels, drawdown and discharge flow
- rainfall and weather information
- pump and generator status, runtime, pressure, fuel, power and service indicators
- CCTV, vehicles and additional project instruments
Coverage is designed around the outcome and the risks you need to manage, so it varies by project.
Construction Shown on scene
Is the dewatering system achieving the required drawdown? Pump data and groundwater readings come together, so ACTION can respond when performance moves outside agreed limits.
Municipal Shown on scene
Are flood-prevention and bypass pumping systems ready when needed? Connected equipment, water levels and readiness indicators are tracked, with alerts and responses set to the operating plan.
Industrial Shown on scene
Is critical pumping or temporary fluid control staying within its operating range? ACTION teams see connected equipment and system indicators through complex operations.
05 · The name
Why AURA?
Awareness around the operation. Clarity when action is needed.
AURA stands for ACTION Unified Real-Time Assurance: the connected layer of visibility around critical operations. It brings scattered signals together, separates exceptions from routine readings and gets ACTION expertise to the asset or project that needs it.
Connects. Filters. Signals. Informs.
06 · How it works
From connected data to a purposeful response.
AURA draws attention to what matters. ACTION people decide what happens next.
- STEP 1
Make readiness visible
Status, runtime, fuel, battery and service indicators, visible remotely wherever equipment is connected.
Illustrative image - STEP 2
Set the performance context
ACTION sets the operating bands, system measures and risks that matter to the intended outcome.
- STEP 3
Bring exceptions into focus
Readings that cross a limit, or drift from the engineers' model, go straight to the right team. Routine readings stay in the background.
- STEP 4
Apply expertise and intervene
ACTION engineers and operations specialists assess the signal and decide the response. Automatic actions run only inside defined controls.
- STEP 5
Use evidence to improve
Readings, alerts and interventions inform reviews, agreed reporting and the next design.

How this scene was built
A generic ACTION dewatering site drawn to scale from ACTION asset types. Asset IDs, readings and times are scripted for illustration and reviewed by ACTION engineering. No client data.
Illustrative image07 · The people
Software makes the signal visible. ACTION makes it useful.
AURA grew from the practical needs of ACTION teams who engineer, install, maintain and operate critical systems across construction, municipal and industrial work. Their experience decides which measures matter, where thresholds sit and when a specialist steps in.
Anyone can buy a sensor. The advantage is knowing which signal matters, to whom, and what to do about it.
08 · What clients get
What changes for you?
Confidence in outcomes, without more data to manage.
AURA coverage and reporting are configured for each engagement. ACTION uses the information to manage the work and provides the reporting agreed for your scope. Additional sensors, integrations and client-facing outputs are agreed as part of that scope.

10 · Built by ACTION
Built by operators. Informed by experience.
AURA is the evolution of ACTION's asset management capability.
ARMS began with a practical need: to know where equipment is and how it is performing. Connecting assets across projects made fleet management more responsive. AURA extends that thinking to the performance of the whole engineered system.
A pump can be healthy while the project falls behind its required outcome. AURA lets ACTION see both: the workshop looking after the equipment, and the project team accountable for the result. Different signals, drawn from the same connected information.
AURA does not sleep, tire or lose focus at the end of a shift. Behind it, ACTION brings the engineering, field operations and response capability to act on what it shows, however remote the project.

What is AURA?
AURA (ACTION Unified Real-Time Assurance) is ACTION's connected operational visibility and assurance capability. It brings together information from compatible equipment and project instruments, highlights exceptions to configured limits and supports a specialist-led response.
How does AURA build on ARMS?
ARMS, ACTION's remote asset management system, established remote visibility of individual equipment and fleets. AURA builds on that foundation with project-level views that show how the wider system is performing against the outcome it is expected to deliver.
Does AURA predict failures or run systems on its own?
Today AURA highlights exceptions against configured operating thresholds and compares measured performance with the engineering model where one exists. ACTION people interpret those signals and decide the response. Predictive modelling and automated decision support are areas of development, not standard capabilities today.
What does device agnostic mean?
AURA is designed to integrate information from different makes and types of asset, sensor and system. Interfaces, available data and integration requirements are assessed as part of each project scope, so not every device connects automatically.
What can AURA monitor?
Depending on the agreed scope, AURA can bring together operating status and runtime from connected pumps and generators, with selected flow, pressure, fuel, water level, rainfall, CCTV and other project information. The measures follow the risks and outcomes of each application.
What happens when AURA detects an exception?
When a reading crosses a configured threshold, AURA brings it to ACTION's attention. A qualified team member assesses what it means for the system and decides the action. Where equipment automation has been configured, it operates within its defined controls.
Is AURA included with every ACTION service?
No. Many ACTION assets come with established telemetry, but connected coverage differs by equipment and project. Project-level dashboards, additional sensors, interfaces and client reporting are configured and agreed for each scope.
Will clients need to manage a dashboard?
Not necessarily. ACTION uses the information to manage its own operations and provides the project updates and reports agreed in the service. Any direct client access or additional data deliverables are confirmed as part of the agreement.
How does AURA help project managers and asset managers differently?
Asset teams need to know whether equipment is available, healthy and serviceable. Project managers need to know whether the combined system is delivering the intended result. AURA gives each team its own view of the same connected information.
Where can AURA be used?
Across ACTION's construction, municipal and industrial operations in the GCC, wherever connectivity is feasible and useful. Measures, integrations, response procedures and reporting are shaped around each project.
What does AURA mean for flood prevention?
For planned flood-prevention systems, AURA helps ACTION monitor the readiness of connected pumps and selected network indicators before and during rainfall. The shift is from reacting once flooding begins to keeping pre-positioned pumping infrastructure in clear view.
