Who leads ACTION?
ACTION’s senior leadership brings engineering expertise, practical experience and clear accountability to groundwater and fluid risk across the GCC. From planning to site delivery, the focus is the same: solve the problem, protect people and keep critical operations moving.
Some of the team have been with ACTION for more than two decades. Behind them is a workforce of more than 1,500 people, most of them on site.
Padraig Nagle
Chief Executive Officer
Padraig founded ACTION in Abu Dhabi in 1996 and has led it for 30 years, growing a dewatering and plant hire business into a GCC specialist in groundwater and fluid risk, with offices across the region. He built it on site, working alongside his crews, and that hands-on approach still shapes how ACTION takes on every scope.
Dominique Rachez
Group Chief Financial Officer
Dominique joined ACTION as Group Chief Financial Officer in 2023 and leads its financial strategy and performance. He brings international experience in finance and business leadership, particularly in sustainable growth, operational improvement and mergers and acquisitions.
Archie Fernandes
GM: Construction Services
Archie joined ACTION in 2004 and has led its construction and groundwater control business as General Manager since 2014. A mechanical engineer by background, he brings experience in business unit leadership, construction and contract management.
Amr Mansour
GM: Industrial Services
Amr joined ACTION in 2025 and leads its Industrial Services division, with international experience in operations, commercial strategy and business leadership. His background spans oilfield services and investment advisory, and his focus is on business growth, operational improvement, technology implementation, and mergers and acquisitions.
Chris Derry
QHSE Manager
Chris joined ACTION in 2016 and oversees quality, health, safety and environmental management across its operations in the GCC. His background is in oil and gas projects across the region, and his focus is on protecting people and strengthening safety culture.
Raffaele Principe
Head of Supply Chain & AMO
Raffaele joined ACTION in 2024 and leads procurement, logistics, maintenance and field service across the GCC. He brings international experience in supply chain and operational leadership, with a focus on efficiency, asset performance and service delivery.
Simon Berry
Head of Commercial
Simon joined ACTION as Head of Commercial in 2017, after serving as Regional Director at Systech International. His background is in commercial consultancy, cost planning and contracts, and he focuses on understanding what each client needs from a scope.
Matthew Tyrell
Head of Human Capital
Matthew joined ACTION as Head of Human Capital in 2026, after HR leadership roles across the region. His background spans engineering, construction and oil and gas, with a focus on recruitment, employee engagement and workforce planning.
Simon Miller
Head of Digital
Simon joined ACTION in 2009 and leads its digital transformation, connecting technology to what happens on site. He has worked across construction, dewatering and equipment rental, and focuses on fleet performance, business systems and better decision-making.
D’leon Burger
Head of Marketing
D’leon joined ACTION as Head of Marketing in 2025 and leads marketing across its services in the GCC. His experience spans energy, construction materials and consumer brands, with a focus on business strategy, brand development and growth.
